Brindisa
Inside Borough Market’s Floral Hall, Brindisa sells an assortment of high-quality Spanish food items every Tuesday through Saturday. The shop began as a tiny stall in 1988 and expanded to its current space in 2005, offering a variety of artisan cheeses, olive oils, Calasparra rice, Spanish almonds, conserved tuna, anchovies, chocolate, and turrón (Spanish nougat). The store also specializes in Serrano and Ibérico ham and even has a ham carving school that enables students to taste a variety of meats and wines while learning expert preparation techniques. Tapas Brindisa, the company’s celebrated restaurant, is located in the marketplace, as well.
