Features
Great design, Traditional style, Hotel bar, Hotel restaurant, Trendy

The first London hotel by André Balazs (the Standard, the Mercer, the Chateau Marmont), Chiltern Firehouse features just 26 suites. The building itself is rich in character and dates back to 1887, when it was a fire station. There's a flare for individuality and personalization, such as the handwritten note in each room instructing guests to "dial O for everything." The bar and restaurant, headed by Michelin-starred chef Nuno Mendes, are always buzzy, and the female staff look sleek in custom-designed Emilia Wickstead jumpsuits.
