SLS Las Vegas

SLS Las Vegas

The $415 million remake of the old Sahara into Sam Nazarian’s 1600-room SLS was the most anticipated opening of the year, and the star-sightings didn’t disappoint. Extra host Maria Menounos welcomed Lenny Kravitz to the stage poolside at Foxtail during the opening night—which began on the red carpet with Aaron Paul, Emile Hirsch, Dita Von Teese and Holly Madison. Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora performed their hit collaboration “Black Widow,” and invited revelers got a dine-around of restaurants like Bazaar Meat, Katsuya and Cleo. The real firepower then—and now—is in The Sayers Club. Kravitz took the stage just for a moment to greet the screaming crowd, but saved his performance for a private group, including Sam Nazarian, inside the intimate venue.
