Diamond Deluxe Hotel
Opening amid the challenges of the 2009 Greek financial crisis proved to be a boon for the Diamond Deluxe hotel, which became an immediate hit among travelers with a taste for luxury and a weakness for upscale kitsch. Overlooking a private stretch of Lambi beach and the sparkling Aegean, the hotel features 112 white-on-white rooms, each equipped with Jacuzzi or massage tub, plush beds, and 100-percent-organic linens—indicative of the hotel’s ever-expanding green initiatives.
The whimsical items on display in the lobby are also on display in the spa, where guests can treat themselves to yogurt body wraps and papaya facials. The Peruzzi Italian restaurant, meanwhile, has one of the few wood-fired ovens among Kos luxury resorts.
