Harry S. Truman's Little White House
Key West has a history of welcoming vacationing presidents (Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Carter among them), but Truman made the island city his winter home—and that residence has since been turned into a museum full of memorabilia that immortalizes every presidential visit. The museum features photos, videos, and official trip logs, which reveal fascinating details about the day-to-day duties of our commanders in chief. For more, take a 45-minute tour of the president's personal quarters, furnished with his desk and custom-made poker table. Outside, there's almost an acre of tropical foliage to explore in the residence's botanical garden.
