Michaels
Since 1997, Michaels has been putting a tropical twist on the traditional American steakhouse experience on a back street in Old Town. The restaurant's small wood bar and vast wine display create a sort of otherworldly feeling, which is only augmented by an umbrella-filled garden area, surrounded by lush greenery and a charming fountain. The meat-focused menu is full of stick-to-your-ribs classics like the signature stuffed veal chop filled with prosciutto, basil, and mozzarella and a variety of steaks. There are plenty of non-meat dishes, too, including a cedar-planked salmon with Dijon mustard, plus a fondue menu full of cheesy options like wild mushroom and hot chili pepper.
