Universal Studios Islands of Adventure
This addition to Universal Studios Florida opened in 1999 and trumpeted the site's conversion into the Universal Orlando Resort. The park's initial six themed islands have since expanded into eight, with Hogsmeade (part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter) and Skull Island being the most recent to debut at the park. A total of 15 rides and 3 water rides are spread across the islands, with the comic book world of Marvel Super Hero Island and Jurassic Park proving among the most enduringly popular. Seuss Landing has six attractions based around the beloved works of Dr. Seuss, while the highlight of the Lost Continent is a live-action show, the Eighth Voyage of Sinbad. You'll need to purchase a multi-park pass if you want to take the train from Hogsmeade into Diagon Alley (and you do—it's a multi-sensory experience on its own), which is located in Universal Studios Florida.
