Fridheimar's greenhouses harness the incredible power of Iceland’s geothermic energy to produce fresh garden greens and tomatoes. It's located along the well-beaten Golden Circle route, and is the perfect place to pause for all-you-can-eat tomato soup with house-baked bread. While there, guests can learn about the thermodynamics of greenhouse growing, and snip herbs to garnish your lunch. Tables are set with white tablecloths and fragrant basil plants. The farm also has show horses, for those interested in spending an entire afternoon.
