Erpsstadir
More of a snack spot than a restaurant. Anyone passing through western Iceland should stop at Erppstadir, a dairy farm specializing in ice cream, Greek-style cheeses, and a unique skyr candy pop that’s blended with white chocolate. Order the signature cream-flavored ice cream, named Kjaftaedi—which roughly translates to “bullshit” in English—and spend a little extra time to admire the intricacies of a working farm before pushing onward. The skyr pops (comically shaped like a cow's udder) make excellent souvenirs for family and friends back home.
