Alan Wong protégés (and husband-and-wife team) Wade Ueoka and Michelle Karr-Ueoka have perfected their Hawaiian-inflected surf-and-turf menu since opening in 2014 a few blocks from Ala Moana Shopping Center. Their style is evident in dishes like an exceptional seafood stew made with Kona lobster, Kauai shrimp, scallops, and abalone in a tomato-saffron broth served with toasted Japanese white bread.
