More of a restaurant with rooms than a hotel, Cliff Townhouse is set within a striking Georgian building right on Stephen’s Green. Period features combine with modern textures and finishes on the inside—think vintage faucets in the bathroom, offset with oversized velvet headboards in the bedrooms. The rooms and suites have an Irish country feel, with duck egg blues on the walls, mismatched antique furniture, and thick Donegal tweed blankets on the beds. The restaurant is a sleeker affair, with Art Deco light fixtures and midnight blue leather booths. At the back, there’s an oyster and champagne bar offering an assortment of Irish seafood—the Carlingford Lough oysters are exceptionally plump.
