Les Armures
Located within the Hotel Les Armures in the city’s historic Old Town, this restaurant serves traditional Swiss fare in a two-story space that dates from the 17th century. A full suit of armor marks the entrance to the tavern-like dining room, which also contains wooden ceiling beams, white tablecloths, and stone walls hung with real muskets. Outside, additional seating is available on a cobblestoned terrace, sandwiched between the Old Arsenal and the Maison Tavel. Complemented by Swiss and French wines, the menu includes dishes like air-dried meats, cheese fondue, and chopped veal with cream sauce and rösti (fried grated potatoes).
