Modern style

Following an $8.5 million refurbishment, the Conrad Dublin has emerged as one of the sleekest hotels in the city. The National Concert Hall is across the road, and Stephen’s Green just around the corner, but it’s the nearby Iveagh Gardens that inspired the new interiors. A palette of soft, leafy greens dominates the rooms, with bespoke touches such as wrought iron branches on fixtures and fittings. There’s something of an equestrian theme to The Coburg brasserie, now a haven of stylish touches—Hermes scarves line the walls, and high stools are studded with leather reins.
