History Colorado Center
Kids and adults alike will love this hands-on and high-tech look at Colorado's most interesting history. Visitors enter into a four-story hall that uses interactive "time machines" to tell the stories of famous state events. Then, choose one of the exhibition areas to ride in a Model T Ford, collect wooden chicken eggs on a 1918 plains farm, or check out a highly detailed diorama of what Denver looked like in 1860. The beautiful and recently revamped building is centrally located, making this an easy add-on after visiting the Denver Art Museum or the Denver Public Library.
