After gaining acclaim at ChoLon Bistro downtown, chef Lon Symensma's second restaurant packs in 20-something hipsters for well-spiced Asian street food in the up-and-coming Baker neighborhood. The darkly lit interior is heavy on exposed brick with a few kitschy decor items—like a hanging food cart bicycle—and a long bar that slings sake and craft cocktails. Try the ever-changing noodle entrees and the Thai coconut chicken curry, an aromatic wonder served in a tiffin box with sides of herbs, a slice of lime, and fried noodles. Bonus: While desserts suffer at many Asian joints, Symensma's coconut sticky rice pudding finishes the meal nicely.
