Confucius Temple and Imperial College
The Confucius Temple and adjacent Imperial College can be visited together with a through ticket. The latter was the highest center of learning during the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties; the names of students who passed the grueling imperial examinations were engraved on stone steles housed at the Confucius Temple. With their ancient cypress trees and spacious courtyards, the sites offer sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Guozijian Street.
