Recently named one of the "World's 50 Best Bars" for a record seventh time, there can be no doubt that owner Javier de las Muelas and his team are doing quite a lot right. This Barcelona outpost is the original Dry Martini (before the brand was exported) and it remains the most classic watering hole in the Catalan capital. Full of journalists, writers, and old-school city characters, Dry Martini serves the best G&T in the city (at a size approximately seven times larger than what you're typically served in London) and the namesake dry martini is also a solid choice. Next door there's a speakeasy restaurant you can only access with a password, but treat your servers nicely and they may just find a table for you there.
