For years, this creek—which runs from north campus through downtown and into Lady Bird Lake—has been subject to severe flooding. But a new, well-funded conservation project (led by Peter Mullan, who previously helped redevelop New York's acclaimed High Line park) is in the process of transforming the space into an urban riparian zone filled with parks, public art, and healthy ecosystems.
