Based in Rio de Janeiro, Robinson makes quarterly trips to Peru to explore the country's best hospitality options and experiences. His his passion for Incan history makes him particularly adept at planning insider trips to Machu Picchu, and his love of food has resulted in personal relationships with many of the region's most in-demand chefs. Recently, Robinson arranged an intimate marriage ceremony at the ruins of Saqsaywaman, followed by a gourmet picnic prepared by one of Cuzco’s top toques.
He also organized an architectural tour of Lima led by a professor of art history at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a trip to Chan Chan, the largest pre-Columbian city in the Americas and one of the largest adobe cities in the world. Coordinating approximately 70 trips per year, Robinson is noting an increased interest in travel to Peru among younger travelers and an upswing in interest to destinations like Arequipa, which offer all the beauty of Cusco and Lima with lesser crowds.
"A personal friend recommended Thomas to me. From my initial contact with him, the communication was always prompt. We had an initial phone call to discuss my ideas on where I wanted to travel and what my interests were. During my trip, Thomas was able to arrange several upgrades in my accommodation. It was also my birthday, so he arranged a gift to spend the afternoon kayaking for me during my stay. I would definitely recommend Thomas to a friend just as he was recommended to me. He is a genuine, friendly professional that has an innate way of understand his customers." - Leanne Hamilton
