Butler and her team often tackle as many as 50 trips to the UK and Ireland a month, which means she’s got the process down to a science. Her itineraries are filled with unique British experiences — think going behind the scenes of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace or firing the guns on board the HMS Belfast, the first ship to arrive on D-Day.
On a recent trip, Butler personally hosted a group in Ireland, where she took them on a private whiskey tour at the Jameson distillery, behind the scenes at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and to a private party at a local manor. She’s noticed an increased demand for local experiences, which has even led to her entertaining various clients at her home in London. This gives travelers the opportunity to meet area residents and enjoy the comforts of home away from their five-star-hotel experiences. She points to the Cotswalds as a region on the rise, thanks to a slew of recent hotel openings and new experiences.
"I used Nicola Butler and her Noteworthy team to host my family for a two-week trip to England last summer. On a scale of 1 to 10, the trip was a 12! The itinerary was terrific. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and charismatic. The entire process is a memory we will forever cherish." - H.R.
