There’s no travel more magical than honeymoons, destination weddings, and proposal trips. But the pressure to get it right can translate into endless spreadsheets and to-do lists. Enter Kara Bebell and Harlan deBell, a brother-and-sister team known as the Travel Siblings, who coordinate approximately 500 honeymoons and 35 weddings per year, and take turns jetting off to different locales once a month to scope out the newest hotels, romantic settings, and Instagram-worthy bathrooms.
They’ve planned everything from an intimate wedding at La Pause hotel outside Marrakesh, to a 150-person, medieval-themed ceremony at the Resort at Pedregal, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. And no request is too over-the-top. The duo has even arranged for one honeymooning couple’s French bulldog to be delivered to them via private jet. With an extensive network of connections, Bebell and deBell have relationships with some of the most in-demand wedding professionals around the globe, including event planners, designers, florists, confectioners, musicians, and celebrity chefs. And while Tahiti, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Europe are their most commonly requested destinations, they’re just as adept at travel to less conventional destinations like Tokyo, Panama, and Montenegro.
