Donley developed a taste for adventure at a young age, when she’d accompany her plant-pathologist father on trips throughout Central and South America, picking up Spanish and Portuguese along the way. Today, the travel veteran specializes in fly-fishing trips and multigenerational travel. She’s just as comfortable organizing family getaways to culture capitals like Paris as she is organizing fly-fishing expeditions to Montana and more off-the-beaten-track destinations like the Amazon.
In 2017 alone, Donley traveled to 12 different countries, including Canada and Mozambique, partnering with top travel companies like Abercrombie & Kent and Wilderness Safaris to provide her clients with superlative service and guest experiences. For example, in New Zealand, Donley knows a helicopter crew that will dive for fresh lobsters while you’re fly-fishing on a remote river. They’ll pick you up, crustaceans in tow, for a champagne lunch on a mountaintop.
