Over the past few years, Washington — director of development at McCabe World Travel — has made it a priority to explore lesser-known destinations, including Roatán, in Honduras; Nicaragua; Chile’s Lake District; and the Colca Canyon in Peru — though she is also adept at arranging trips to the classics (Galápagos Islands, Patagonia). As a millennial, she is especially in tune with the planning styles of younger travelers, and is a great fit for someone using a specialist for the first time. She’s also popular among romance seekers, and recently planned a three-week, halfway-across-the-world cruising adventure for two that kicked off in Santiago, Chile and ended in Papeete, Tahiti.
"I worked with Beth on my honeymoon last year for a five-month period. She was very nice and super knowledgeable about the area I was traveling to (Costa Rica). She was able to give us some great guidance based on her personal experience at the resort we stayed at. I would definitely recommend her, and already have. Beth was a pleasure to work with, and I will never forget how thrilled my wife was to receive a bag of coffee from the resort we had booked in Costa Rica a few months before the actual honeymoon as part of the welcome package. It was a really great and meaningful touch." - Jonathan Dillahunty
