At a time when the line differentiating inside clothes and outside clothes is very, very thin, I'm all about versatile loungewear that I can wear just about anywhere. I've long been a fan of Summersalt for its stylish, flattering swimwear, made from sustainable materials in an inclusive size range, but I recently gave the brand's latest loungewear a try — and it's quickly become a favorite in my closet.

Summersalt's Ribbed Collection includes several versions of lounge tops and bottoms, including crewneck t-shirts, long-sleeve henleys, mock-neck shirts, and wide-leg pants, although I opted to test out a racerback tank and lounge shorts. Right off the bat, I was impressed with how luxuriously soft both pieces felt, with just the right amount of structure and stretch. The pieces in this collection are made from a blend of modal and spandex, which provides a soft, silky feel. They're also designed to dry quickly, wick away moisture, and offer sun protection.
What pleasantly surprised me so much about this collection is how comfortable I felt wearing the tank during the day as part of an outfit as I did wearing it as pajamas. I wore the flattering, high-neck top tucked into high-waisted denim shorts to grab coffee in my neighborhood a few weeks ago and loved the look. More recently, I paired the tank and shorts together to wear as pajamas and felt cozy and comfortable all night long. Since loungewear has taken the stage in my wardrobe over the last several months (and my New York City closet space is precious) I appreciate any clothing item that can do double duty. And with that, I love these pieces from Summersalt that perfectly combine comfort and minimalist style.
And shoppers agree on the comfort and versatility of this lounge set, giving the pieces high praise so far. "I love the structure and the comfort of this tank! The material is so soft too!" one reviewer wrote.
As for the lounge shorts, another reviewer specifically commented the material and fit. "Totally in love with these shorts. Summersalt does it again, making clothes that are comfy and flattering at the same time. The fabric is a little thicker and stretchier than some to help them fit great, and the length is perfect (a little longer than some comparable shorts from other brands)," she said.
