This TV Turns Into Museum-worthy Art When You’re Not Watching Netflix
Turn your house into the Louvre with this stunning TV.
Thanks to the global coronavirus pandemic, our homes have become, well, everything. They’re currently offices, schools, gyms, amusement parks, and even museums.
We’ve helped you learn how to take virtual trips to museums around the world and how to use augmented reality to see how famous works of art would look on your very own walls. But now, thanks to Samsung, you can actually transform your home into a museum or art gallery in real life.
The Frame, a 4K resolution lifestyle TV from Samsung, might just be the chicest tv on the market thanks to its impeccable design that makes it look like a studio-quality picture frame. But what’s more is that it doesn’t just look like a frame, it is a frame complete with Art Mode, which transforms the TV into its very own work of art from over 1,000 pieces from the Samsung Art Store. With Dual LED, “which makes use of two types of LED light to deliver crisp, clear images,” you can easily switch between episodes of Friends and world-famous pieces of art.
But now, while we’re staying home to stop the spread of coronavirus, Samsung has added 30 new pieces of art from masters like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Édouard Manet that Frame owners can use for free until June 6. Part of the #StayAtHome with Arts collection, your living room wall can now be the host of Degas’ “The Dance Lesson,” while the bedroom is your own private van Gogh gallery.
Besides this special collection, the Samsung Art store also has art from museums around the world — including London’s Tate Modern, the Prado Museum in Madrid, and Florence’s Uffizi Gallery — and partnerships with photography agencies and independent artists. All of this to allow Frame owners to transform their device with their mood or ever-changing interior design.
Billed as “the only TV you’ll want to watch even when it’s off,” The Frame uses a special “Brightness Sensor” to detect ambient light to automatically balance color tone and brightness. This gives a natural illumination so “you can see your art how it was meant to be seen.” Plus, the TV is designed with a no-gap wall mount and comes with a special “One Invisible Connection” that moves all of your connections and powers into one single cord.
Available in six different colors, and now with an optional easel stand, The Frame is the perfect TV for art- and design-lovers. You don’t have to head to a museum for some stunning art, with this genius investment, all you have to do is walk down to the living room.
