Disney is known for making magic happen and nothing exemplifies that more than the times the brand partnered with high-end designers. The latest collaboration with Coach showcased a series of products that features Mickey Mouse on purses, wallets, and key chains, as well as a line of bags complete with mouse ears. There are even bookmarks, book covers, luggage tags, t-shirts, charm bracelets, and limited edition jackets and shoes all with the iconic image.
Many of the products sold out within days of being released, solidifying yet again the power of affection fans have for all things Disney. But, this is the first time the whimsical company has teamed up with a luxury fashion brand. Givenchy, Missoni, and Marc Jacobs have all jumped in on the Disney love by creating some one-of-a-kind products. While you might have to do some digging on Ebay for some of these keepsakes, here are six lavish items every Disney fan needs:
Coach Mickey Kisslock Wristlet
Featuring the iconic ears known the world, this limited-edition wristlet is a fun statement piece to take around town. It comes in black or red and retails for $250.
Missoni’s Limited Edition Mouse Ears
Mouse ears are a pretty standard purchase for any Disney fan, but these exclusive Missoni ones take the cake. Sold at the Four Seasons Orlando at Disney World, you could have one of the six designs for a cool $150.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Metropoli Garden Travel Tote
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the brands created an 80-piece capsule collection featuring sweatshirts, camera bags, charms, wallets, and more. On of the most drool-worthy pieces was the travel tote that looked like a dreamy scene out of Disney film and cost $328.
Olympia Le-Tan Cinderella Book-Clutch
Spending $1,500 on a clutch might seem absurd, but when it’s a designer, hand-embroidered clutch by Olympia Le-Tan it almost seems worth it. The charming Cinderella-themed purse looks like a vintage book cover and features silk thread and wool felt applique. There are three other versions of the purse in a variety of colors as well as a Lady and the Tramp series of clutches.
Jimmy Choo Cinderella Slipper
You’ll feel like a true princess in these $4,595 pumps. Inspired by the release of Disney’s live action Cinderella movie, the shoe geniuses created their version of the glass slipper. Each pair is custom made and decorated with thousands of Swarovski crystals.
Givenchy Bambi & Female-Form Oversized T-Shirt
Sure, you can get a T-shirt at any Disney park, but this celebrity designer created a one-of-a-kind statement piece: for $1,190 you get a cotton jersey shirt with an artsy Bambi print.
