If you hate traveling in pants, there's a good chance your go-to airplane outfit involves a pair of leggings. But if you want to update your look to something a bit more polished, leggings that feel soft and stretchy while maintaining a put-together outfit are the perfect happy medium.

The Trouser Leggings from Frank & Eileen are a versatile pant that allow you to look stylish and professional while feeling like you're wearing your comfiest loungewear. The brand is best known for its stylish, breathable button down shirts (another travel staple), and these leggings add to its travel-ready collection. As someone who always opts for comfort when I fly, these pants are totally changing my travel style for the better.

The pants feature a cropped cut with raw-edge cuffs and an elastic waist. The faux fly, functional hip pockets, and faux back pockets all add to the pant look while maintaining the comfort of leggings. They're made from 98% cotton and 2% spandex, so they're undoubtedly soft, easy to wear, and even machine-washable.

I wore these leggings recently and was struck by how soft they felt from the moment I put them on. From work to travel to lounging, I can see these pants pulling together a look for nearly every occasion. And since I wear some version of a black pant almost every day, these trouser leggings will absolutely make their way into my rotation, especially the next time I board a plane.
