Everlane Just Dropped a Stylish, Sustainable, and Machine-washable Tote Bag
If your go-to bag for errands and other daily activities is a canvas tote bag, I'm right there with you. Or, at least, I used to be. Simple fabric totes are both versatile and sturdy, but they get dirty easily and often don't wash well. (I, myself, have accidentally shrunk one too many of my favorite canvas totes after sending them through the washing machine, unfortunately). For months now, I've been searching for a more durable replacement bag that can become a staple in my closet. That's where Everlane's latest bag launch comes in: The Do-it-all Tote is just as versatile as its name suggests, and I have a feeling it will instantly become your new favorite everyday bag.
It's made from Everlane's popular ReKnit material, a sustainable fabric that's only previously been used for shoes, including ballet flats, mules, and boots. This particular bag is made from a blend of recycled polyester and Tencel, which includes 19 renewed plastic water bottles. This material means that it's durable and easy to clean. In fact, this bag is machine washable. Plus, it can be worn as a shoulder bag or a crossbody, depending on your preference. The bag is available in three colors: Black, Dark Olive, and Deep Mauve. Plus, at $48, it's an impressively affordable addition to your bag collection, and one that will be sure to become a go-to, whether you're running to the supermarket or spending a day at the park.
To buy: everlane.com, $48
