I've been on the hunt for a good pair of quarantine shoes — perfect for taking out the trash and the occasional grocery run — since March. I wrote off Crocs as an option because I thought, how comfortable could rubber shoes really be? But when I learned that Crocs aren't actually made of rubber, I became intrigued.

I gave in. I tried on my first pair of Crocs Classic Unisex Clogs (in white) a few weeks ago and have barely taken them off since. The proprietary material Crocs are made of, Croslite, is neither plastic nor rubber, so it doesn't rub the way you think it might or cause any unpleasant friction. There was no "breaking in" period and I've been able to wear them while standing, walking, running (to catch the butcher before it closed, of course), and sitting, all with the same level of comfort.
What's more, the textured insoles of the Crocs Classic Clogs subtly massage the fascia in your feet, too. So, when you do take them off, you notice a different in the range of mobility and overall comfort of your feet.
Right now, the Crocs Classic Clogs are still on sale today at 20% off the original price. Who knows how long this deal will last, though, so take advantage while you still can.
To buy: amazon.com, $36 (originally $45)
