At this point, it’s safe to assume that anything Everlane launches will sell out in record time. That’s basically what happened with the fashion brand’s cult-favorite leather heels (which had a 15,000-person waitlist, might we add), its best-selling leather flats (which were designed after the major success of the Day Heel), and the Day Market Tote (which Meghan Markle famously carried on her first official outing with Prince Harry).

This time, Everlane’s venturing into stretch denim and we can assure you it lives up to the brand’s sell out–worthy standard.

We got to test-drive a couple pairs from Everlane’s new Authentic Stretch denim line and are happy to relay that they are, indeed, incredible. Most stretch denim tends to look great and form-fitting at first, but then after a day’s worth of wear, it becomes loose, bunched in all the wrong places, and ultimately unflattering. Everlane took on this challenge to develop “soft-yet-durable” denim that has a premium look and feel — meaning these jeans will stretch and snap back for a body-hugging look and move with you for a super-comfy feel.

Take it from us. Travel + Leisure editor Richelle Szypulski tried the High-rise Skinny and loves it for the fit, saying, “With a lot of high-waisted pants, the size that I need to fit my waist without gapping is too tight in the thigh, but these were perfect.”

I spent an entire work day seated at my desk (it was a busy day) in the ankle-cropped High-rise Skinny and am happy to confirm that I would joyfully travel in them. I didn’t feel that ever-so-common bunching feeling around my thighs, and when I finally got up and looked in the mirror, they looked just as they did when I first put them on — smooth, form-fitting, and ultra-flattering. I would reach for these over jeggings every time.
