Morgan Ashley Parker is a Senior Commerce Editor at Travel + Leisure. She has been writing and editing travel and lifestyle content since 2007, and believes in having the best suitcase for any occasion and a travel go-bag at the ready.

When she’s not searching for products to improve every step of every journey, you can find her strategizing the best things to wear on vacation. Morgan is currently based in Manhattan, with frequent winter jaunts to Barbados.

Before joining T+L, Morgan spent two and a half years testing beauty products, clothing, and other gear for the commerce team at POPSUGAR. She also previously ran two lifestyle websites for Bravo, approved travel deals at Travelzoo, and launched POPSUGAR’s original pet vertical.

In addition to endless shopping recommendations, Morgan is always down to share packing tips, tricks, and templates to make the most of whatever space you have (or don’t have) on your next trip. She has visited 45 countries—and counting!—but her favorite destination is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where practices her Portuguese...and travels with an empty carry-on and vacuum bags to fit all her purchases. If you don’t catch her racking up airline miles, you’ll likely find her wandering New York City on foot with her Boston Terrier, Beau.


Morgan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Stanford University and a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University.
