"She even got up half way through the flight to get her daughters iPad," the social media user added of the royal mom most likely needing to keep her 7-year-old occupied. According to People, the royal brood was meeting Prince William and Prince George at the family's Balmoral estate to spend time with Queen Elizabeth. "And yes she was stunning," the Tiktoker added. "Even gave me a smile while looking back at row behind her to talk to her son." The clip, which has gained nearly 2 million views, is complete with other commenters praising her for choosing public transportation over private. “I actually appreciate them using normal modes of transport,” one wrote. “Nice to see them not wasting fuel by going via helicopter or a jet,” another added. Viewers were also quick to notice that Prince George wasn’t with his mother or siblings, which is perhaps due to royal protocol, prohibiting heirs to the throne to travel together in case of an accident. (Though this means Prince William and George also shouldn’t be flying together either.) However, this younger generation of royals doesn’t seem too fussed about the rules. In July, it was reported that William and Kate faced the wrath of the Queen after the couple and their three children were all spotted boarding a helicopter together. In December 2021, The Sun additionally reported per a source, "Her Majesty has told close friends and courtiers that she would like William to stop flying himself, particularly in bad weather, as helicopters are not the safest form of transport." The source added, "It keeps the Queen awake at night, and she is understandably very worried." But maybe the monarch will forgive their traveling transgressions as it’s all to benefit her so they can spend a little precious family time together. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
