Hotels.com Will Pay You $10,000 to Be a Professional 'Poolhopper' This Summer (Video)

It's (almost) summer. Though for many people that means going on vacation, for many more that also means getting a summer job. But, what if we told you, you could do both at once?

Yes, my vacation and getting a paycheck-loving friends, it's true. Thanks to Hotels.com you can travel and get paid for it all at once.

This summer, Hotels.com is hiring a "Poolhop" to travel across the nation all in the name of researching the most epic hotel pools from coast to coast.

"The job is simple: travel to six incredible hotel properties, sip on fruity drinks, snap some photos, report back to reward-loving Hotels.com fans," the company explained. "In case we weren't clear enough: Lounge by the pool. Document the experience. Get paid."

That's right, you can get paid to do this job. How much? How about $10,000 for a little summer fun.

"No one wants to be sitting at a desk all summer," Katie Junod, General Manager of the Hotels.com brand in North America, said. "There are so many incredible hotel pools to explore across the country and we want to give travelers a first-hand look at the crème de la crème. And who better to live the hotel life than our very own Hotels.com Poolhop?"

The chosen candidate will not only be compensated $10,000 for his or her time, but will also have their travel and lodging to six epic hotel pools covered as well. During their tenure as "Poolhopper" the person will stay at the Four Seasons Hualalai in Hawaii, the Mondrian Los Angeles, the SLS Las Vegas, the Garden of the Gods Club and Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the The William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, and the National Hotel in Miami. As a bonus, the candidate will also receive one year of Gold Rewards member status on Hotels.com.
