Jane Herman loves denim and timeless women’s fashion pieces. As the founder of Jean Stories, a website focused on denim fashion, and The Only Jane, a women’s clothing line inspired by classic American sportswear, she’s got her finger on what’s trending. Jane spent over 18 years as a fashion writer, working in the editorial departments of Vogue, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, and Travel + Leisure. In 2013, she launched Jean Stories, where she created and planned content, edited articles, and reported on everything denim. Jane went on to become the editorial director at Theory, as well as a freelance creative director, telling meaningful stories for global fashion brands. Today, at The Only Jane, Jane creates a fan-favorite jumpsuit and other classic women’s styles that are made in Los Angeles. She loves to travel and packs only clothing pieces she’s worn in the last six months — and they’re always blue, black, white, and navy in color.
