When it comes to truly relaxing on vacation, kicking back with a cocktail in a luxurious hotel is key. Luckily, the Vandyke Bed & Beverage in East Nashville combines both of those things. Yes, you read that correctly: “Bed & Beverage,” not bed and breakfast.

The Vandyke Bed & Beverage features eight suites inspired by alcoholic drinks. Take the Tequila Suite, for instance. According to hotel reps, the suite features total “desert vibes” complete with Aztec prints and cacti that are sure to make you crave a margarita.

The Gin Suite, on the other hand, is described as a bold space with pops of color and a “Mid-century design." Guests who stay in the Gin Suite will also have an awesome view of Five Points, a bustling East Nashville intersection full of bars, restaurants and shops.

The Gin Suite can be joined with the Vodka Suite to really get the party started.

The “chic” Vodka Suite features a Scandinavian design complete with white linen and fuzzy pillows. It’s simple and crisp, just like a splash of vodka on ice.

Guests who want a pop of color (and a popped cork) should check out the Champagne Suite. According to Vandyke Bed & Beverage, the Champagne suite boasts subtle hints of rose and gold hues throughout the decor, which add to its “Paris meets Brooklyn” aesthetic. It’s super easy on the eyes, just like a bubbly glass of champagne.

Like your go-to rum drink, the Rum Suite, AKA the “Music City Oasis,” features tropical decor that will make you forget you’re in Tennessee.

Guests who are staying at the Vandyke Bed & Beverage with a significant other might want to check into the Wine Suite, which was designed for romantic getaways. Not only is it homey with touches of red and pink throughout the space, but it also features a rustic European soaker tub that looks like it was plucked right out of a Tuscan winery.

The remaining spaces include the Beer Suite and the Whiskey Suite, which are both ideal for friends on vacation. The retro Beer Suite also features boxing gloves and a punching bag, presumably so you can work off those happy hour calories.

The Whiskey Suite, on the other hand, is the “top shelf” space at the Vandyke Bed & Beverage. It’s on the third floor and sleeps six people, which makes it the ideal spot for any friend groups heading to Nashville. (Bachelor or bachelorette party, anyone?)

The masterminds behind the booze-inspired rooms at Vandyke Bed & Beverage include Brooke Prince, a local Nashville interior designer, and Tinsley Dempsey, the property manager at the hotel. According to a hotel statement, Prince led the alcohol-inspired design and Dempsey curated the artwork to accompany it.

Guests who want to stay at the Vandyke Bed & Beverage can book their rooms on the hotel's website, but anyone who isn’t planning on spending the night can still stop by for a drink. The Bar at Vandyke Bed & Beverage opened to the public in mid-April with a craft cocktail menu, eight rotating beers on tap, a selection of wine and champagne, and food options to soak up all that alcohol.
