And the hotel is specifically enticing us all to come down for the awards show in September with its new “Want To Be A Country Star Package.” Courtesy of Thompson Nashville With the package, Thompson Nashville is inviting guests to explore Nashville’s legendary music scene while trying their hand at becoming a country star at the same time. The package not only includes luxury accommodations in the trendy Gulch neighborhood, but it also comes with a private guitar session with a Nashville touring musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist — and a few other extras. Extras like the use of practice guitars provided by Carter Vintage Guitars for your one-hour lesson, along with a private tour of the shop. On the tour, a seasoned staff member will walk you through its coveted inventory and provide a history of Nashville’s great guitar legends along the way. At the end of the tour, the shop will also offer guests a 10 percent discount on guitars purchased at Carter Vintage Shop (for purchases $250 and over) so they can take their learnings and newfound love of country music home with them too.
