The oceanfront tennis court at this stunning Positano hotel on the Amalfi Coast is the definition of postcard worthy.

"The view at Il San Pietro di Positano overlooking the cliffs at sunset is breathtaking," says tennis pro Maria Sharapova. It doesn’t take a five-time Grand Slam champion to appreciate the transcendent beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea at dusk, with Capri lingering fabulously in the distance, from the terrace at this five-star property on the Amalfi Coast. But the view might be outdone by what’s below, 384 steps down a dramatic promontory: a beautifully positioned tennis court wedged between limestone walls and a private beach. Sharapova isn’t the only pro to have played a seaside game here, it’s a favorite of former players Diego Nargiso, Gabriela Sabatini, and Yannick Noah. The perfect post-match indulgence? A glass of wine at the bar and an elevator ride to the top to dine at the Michelin-starred Zass.
