The hotel world is about to get a whole lot bigger thanks to sbe.

In January, the hospitality group announced its plans to open 50 new hotels around the world by 2022, which represents an almost 40% increase in the company's current portfolio.

"In just over a decade, sbe has brought the concept of culturally transcendent properties to life through partnerships with industry-leading experts and cutting edge design visionaries," the company wrote on its website about its future projects. "We continue to redefine contemporary hospitality and real estate development, and are constantly in search of those that share our vision to create extraordinary experiences in new communities, in new markets, in new — literally groundbreaking — ways."

According to the company, through its strategic partnership with Accor, it will open 10 additional Mondrian hotels by 2022. The company also plans to expand the SLS brand with 17 new hotels across North America, South America, and Asia, all within the next five years. See more about a few notable openings coming soon below.
