If you're looking to spread some holiday cheer a little early this year, Sea Island Resort is the place to be. The five-star hotel will be hosting an exhibit called The Art of Dr. Seuss through the month of July, but that's only the beginning of the festivities. The display is a teaser for the resort's Grinch-themed celebration coming up this Christmas. Until August 4th, guests will have the opportunity to check out some of Dr. Seuss's work at the Ann Jackson Gallery. Highlights: an entire display dedicated to artwork from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a 170-pound Cat in the Hat sculpture, 3D sculptures of some of the author's most bizarre creatures, and pieces from his Secret Art Collection. The resort will also host themed crafting events for kids.

Although Georgia may not be the destination you think of when it comes to a wintry wonderlands, the resort will be transforming into just that this holiday season. The location's Beach Club will become Who-ville replica and family friendly events will be hosted throughout the holiday (think: ornament and cookie decorating). For more information on what to expect from the celebration, visit the Sea Island Resort website.
