New York City is home to some iconic real estate, and arguably no other building complex has as much notoriety as Rockefeller Plaza. Whether you know it from “30 Rock,” “Saturday Night Live,” or the iconic Christmas tree and ice rink that pop up each winter, chances are, you've heard of it.

The landmarked address of 75 Rockefeller Plaza will now be bookable on Airbnb thanks to a partnership between the online marketplace and RXR Realty, one of the city's real estate giants. The partners announced plans on Monday to convert iconic New York City commercial properties into “urban lodging” bookable exclusively on Airbnb.

“The partnership will leverage the respective bestinclass attributes of each company to reimagine how urban hospitality can provide all the comforts of home in locally designed, beautiful hospitality suites, while providing guests with curated authentic NYC experiences and a sense of community typically reserved for locals,” RXR Realty and Airbnb said in a statement.

The Rockefeller Plaza project is one of the duo’s first properties, and will occupy 10 floors. The high-end, apartment-style suites will give guests stunning views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Empire State Building and put visitors in the heart of midtown Manhattan on the same block as Radio City Music Hall and near Central Park.

The property will boast amenities that include access to a private social club on the building’s top floor, collaborative working areas, and experiences meant to provide an authentic taste of local life in the city.

“With this new partnership with RXR, we hope to provide that same unique feeling, in the form of new spaces in the heart of midtown Manhattan and elsewhere so that everyone can enjoy an authentic New York experience,” said Brian Chesky, co-founder, CEO, and head of community at Airbnb, in a statement.
