Great Wolf Lodge is here to save the day for any families whose vacation may be derailed by a canceled flight this Fourth of July weekend.

Any families who have the misfortune of a canceled flight during the holiday weekend can head to social media in hopes to score a free night at the resort. Anyone who tweets at Great Wolf Lodge with proof of their canceled trip will be entered to receive a voucher for a free night at one of 18 Great Wolf Lodge resorts across the country.

In order for an entry to count, a hopeful visitor must share a screen grab showing their flight cancellation notice. Additionally, travelers must be able to prove that their canceled flight was scheduled to depart between 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 1 and 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 4.

Great Wolf Lodge, a family-friendly indoor water park resort, will be accepting entries via Twitter until 5 p.m. CST on Tuesday. Be sure to use the hashtag #GWLRescue and the company's handle @greatwolflodge to make your entry official.

Of all the entries, 100 winners will be randomly selected and notified of their good luck by Thursday, July 7. They can plan to book their free night from Aug. 15 through Nov. 18, 2022. Black-out dates and limited numbers on select dates may apply.

Ahead of the busy travel weekend, several airlines are preparing for potential cancellations. Delta will waive all change fees from July 1 through 4 and United has already canceled many flights from its Newark hub for July.

Those taking to the skies this weekend, should be sure to sign up for travel notifications from your airline and double-check your flight status before leaving for the airport.
