The festive holiday season is finally here. And that means it’s time for everyone — including our favorite hotels — to bust out the decorations. However, this year, rather than pulling out the same old garland and wreaths The Savoy in London will be decking the halls with LEGO® bricks.

“With their motto ‘Only the best is good enough’, The LEGO Group is the perfect partner for us as we gear up to a festive season here at The Savoy that will delight and inspire both our grown-up and little guests alike,” Ian Kidd, Hotel Manager at The Savoy said in a statement. “We’ve been blown away by the incredible creativity and passion brought to the table by the LEGO brick designers so far and look forward to revealing the decorations for all to enjoy.”

The LEGO Group installed the playful displays above the world-famous sign on Savoy Court and in the Front Hall, with other surprise LEGO brick-built decorations strewn about the hotel.

But, as the hotel explained in a statement, this decoration partnership isn’t just about celebrating the holidays. Instead, it’s in larger support of The LEGO Group’s biggest-ever global brand campaign, Rebuild the World, meant to inspire people to act like kids again and get creative in the new year.

“We are excited to be partnering with The Savoy for this festive celebration. As part of our Rebuild the World campaign, this partnership is designed to inspire people of all ages to unleash their creativity and explore the limitlessness of their imagination through play,” Nicola Morgan-Hulme, Senior Brand Relations Manager at The LEGO Group said in a statement.

At The Savoy, guests can expect to see extensive LEGO builds throughout the hotel including a dragon Christmas tree, a LEGO sleigh, and more. Beyond viewing the displays visitors will also have the opportunity to build a decoration themselves. Then, guests can take a photo of their creation and share it on social media with #BuildToGive. For every decoration built and shared LEGO will donate a set to a child in need within hospitals, children homes, on underserved communities to play this Christmas.
