Travel + Leisure Editorial Guidelines Published on April 16, 2020 Share Tweet Pin Email In times of crisis, there is always queso. Queso is any Tex-Mex lover’s comfort food. It’s cheesy, gooey, melty, and the perfect snack for parties. It’s practically its own food group for Texans. Of course, queso lovers aren’t getting a lot of that cheesy goodness, since a majority of restaurants have closed or switched to only pickup and delivery in the wake of coronavirus. If you are one of the lucky few who can get delicious queso delivered to your door, congratulations. Meanwhile, the rest of us must stay inside and dream of the day we can finally venture out to our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant and enjoy the best dip in the universe again. To help soothe our cravings and provide some much-needed relaxation during this stressful time, Moe’s Southwest Grill (which is famous for its signature queso), has released a meditative video that’s pretty much just a hand dunking chips into a scrumptious cup of queso for eight hours straight. There’s also a burrito around the five-hour, 47-minute mark. On top of watching chips being slowly dipped in queso, set to soothing spa music, the video also features some affirmations, whispered gently to you in a man’s voice. Anyone who loves ASMR videos will definitely want to have this experience. The ASMR voice comes in at a few points during the video: At 32:20, the voice whispers, “You are in a bountiful field of queso.” At 2:47:00, the voice whispers, “Relaxation is who you are, queso is what you eat.” At 4:59:53, the voice whispers, “Peace, tranquility, and queso.” At 7:09:12, the voice whispers, “Let the worry of your day drip away like queso.” Hopefully, this extra-long video will help you take your mind off your worries and stare at melting cheese for the equivalent of a regular workday. We can’t think of a better way to spend the day, honestly. This is what we call, “self-care.” Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
