Starbucks has been doing a fantastic job of convincing us we need to stop into one of its many stores this fall. Between the bewitchingly beautiful Halloween cups and the delicious secret menu items, there have been plenty of reasons to keep making trips to Starbucks—and that's likely not going to stop anytime soon. Because now, the Seattle-based coffee chain is encouraging us to treat ourselves (and a friend) with a steal of a deal. On select Thursdays (including today), Starbucks is offering a happy hour deal of buy one, get one on drinks.

Yes, fellow caffeine lovers, rejoice! But before you head to your local shop, there are a few important details you need to know. To reap the benefits of this offer, you need to be a Starbucks rewards member. And if you're not a member yet, you can become one in just a few minutes. All you have to do is visit the Starbucks website, create an account, and you're ready to bask in your first reward.

Now, back to the BOGO. A spokesperson for Starbucks says you can stop into any Starbucks location today from 2 to 7 p.m., order any handcrafted drink—size grande or larger—and get another beverage for free. The offer is loaded directly onto the Starbucks app, so make sure you have that downloaded before you order. Of course, there are a few exclusions to the deal. The second drink must be equal or lesser value, and the deal cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. The promotion does not include hot coffee, hot brewed tea, ready-to-drink beverages, or Starbucks Reserve drinks.

If you can't make it to today's BOGO event, don't worry—it won't be the last time Starbucks offers this deal. Customers will be notified the day prior to the selected Thursday of any upcoming happy hour.

However, we can confirm the happy hour is going on today. So grab a friend, a coworker, or even go solo, stop by your closest Starbucks, and treat yourself this afternoon. Cheers!
