Find Out What it’s Like to Eat Lunch with Sumo Wrestlers
Palace Hotel Tokyo is giving you an up-close-and-personal look at Japan’s beloved sport: Sumo wrestling. Visitors can choose one of two “Grappling Tokyo” experiences: a tournament season stay and an off-season trip. Both options feature two nights of accommodation for two, plus daily breakfast, private transportation, a Sumo sports broadcaster as a personal guide, and a translator.
The tournament season package includes two tickets to a sumo wresting tournament and a guided tour of the Kokugikan stadium, while the off-season package offers a viewing of the morning’s sumo practice and lunch with the sumo wrestlers—picture-taking time is included, of course.
The in-season package starts at $4,051 and the off-season trip begins at $5,080. For more information on reserving your spot, head on over to the Palace Hotel Tokyo website.
