Instagram is good for much more than fueling an insatiable amount of wanderlust. Little do you know, when you 'gram dinner from your favorite restaurant, people take notice—specifically, the good folks of Instagram notice when they compile the end-of-year most-Instagrammed location data.

This year, they found the 25 most-Instagrammed restaurants in the United States—and not all of them are located in the expected cities (looking at you, New York City). The result is a list worthy of planning a trip around. (In reality, you'd only have to visit a handful of cities to do so.) Read on, and start making those dinner reservations.
