KFC Wants You To Take Fake Vacation Photos in Romania
If you're heading to a KFC in Romania, you can expect much more than a chicken dinner. The Colonel's newest campaign is completely focused on fabulous vacation photos—the kind that are completely fake and still guaranteed to rake in the Instagram likes. Drumroll, please: exotic tray liners. The usual, boring papers used to buffer the plastic trays from grease and other food stuffs have been replaced with images of three wanderlust-inspired destinations around the world (Spain, Greece, and Italy). The thought is that diners will take a minute to snap a "fakation" photo while enjoying their meal.
To add another layer of service to the campaign, the fast food restaurant has even teased releasing a website dedicated to sharing tips for the perfect vacation photos. Because nothing goes better with fried chicken than the sweet smell of jealous friends who think you're jetting off to the beach.
