Unless you’re a talented baker or have a place that will bring cheesecake to your door right now, getting that sweet treat is easier said than done. As restaurants around the world are remaining closed (or switching to delivery and take out) due to the coronavirus outbreak, that leaves your cheesecake craving dangerously unsatisfied. The famous chain restaurant announced earlier this year that it will be expanding its The Cheesecake Factory At Home grocery store products to include a collection of cheesecake ice cream. Courtesy of The Cheesecake Factory “Cheesecake fans no longer need to choose between a slice and a scoop; now they can have both in one delicious dessert,” said David Overton, Founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated in a statement. “We are so pleased to be introducing this premium, unique new retail product line and can’t wait for our fans to try it in the comfort of home.” The Cheesecake Factory teamed up with ice cream manufacturer Wells Enterprises, Inc. to create a signature cheesecake blend of ice cream, so this goes way beyond just plain, old ice cream with cheesecake thrown in. Varieties all include the restaurant’s signature cream cheese blend and sour cream and real cheesecake ingredients, plus a number of delicious flavors like birthday cake (with cake pieces, swirls of icing and candy sprinkles), chocolate (with rich chocolate fudge swirls), cookies and cream (with chocolate cookie swirls), key lime (with key lime cheesecake and graham swirls), salted caramel (with sea salt caramel and graham swirls), strawberry (with strawberry and graham swirls), and of course, original (with the restaurants signature cheesecake ice cream, sour cream, and graham swirls). This collection can be found in the frozen aisle of grocery stores nationwide for only $4.99 per 14-ounce carton. For more information and to find some ice cream near you, visit The Cheesecake Factory at Home website.
