You can tell a lot about a destination by its bakeries.

One step in a French bakery in Paris, and you're in for some of the best croissants of your life. But it's not just a European thing; the United States has plenty of cafés and bakeries with their own specialty baked goods and drinks.

Instagram dove into the most-photographed places on the app, and found the top 15 bakeries and cafés that popped up on users' feeds.

From Thai iced tea in lightbulb-shaped glasses to world-famous beignets piled high with powdered sugar, you're sure to find a few new vacation spots on this list.
