Join Sarah Michelle Gellar for a Travel-inspired Cooking Lesson Just in Time for Thanksgiving

While we’ve all probably had one too many Zoom meetings this year, there are some perks to living in a more virtual world. Beyond looser dress codes (pajamas are always optional, right?) and the ability to roll out of bed and straight into your first meeting, the popularity of Zoom also gives us unprecedented access to people we wouldn’t otherwise meet.

One online company is already arranging for children to meet Santa via video chat, and now, Travelocity is making Thanksgiving extra special with the opportunity to hop on a Zoom call with actress Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Best known for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gellar is gearing up to slay Thanksgiving dinner and wants you to join her. Next Tuesday, Nov. 24, Travelocity is hosting a public Zoom meeting in which Gellar will teach participants how to cook her favorite, travel-inspired Thanksgiving dish. Scheduled to take place just before Turkey Day, participants will leave the call with a full recipe they can whip up for the holiday.

The call starts at 3 p.m. PST/6 p.m. EST, and is only open to the first 1,000 people, so be sure to log in early. Though this isn’t an interactive event, time permitting, Travelocity may open the floor at the end of the call for participants to ask the actress some questions.
